A native of New York City, Kemmeo Parr lives with her husband and toddler (and two frogs) in Oakland, California where she enjoys storytelling in the form of photography. When she isn't photographing weddings and people, she enjoys gardening, hiking, knitting and making different breads and cheeses. She moved to the Bay Area in 2002 and fell in love with the landscape and the warmth of the people.Who wouldn't?

She has been in the photography business since 1998 and she freelances for both Editorial and Advertising Agencies. Her growing client list includes the New York Times, Rolling Stone, and New York Magazines, Trust for Public Land, Matson Navigation, Landor Associates, and various local business.

Kemmeo is an active member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA)
