Here are a few more photos from Katie and Trainor’s wedding. What I did not include in the slideshow and I’m posting here is the quiet that the couple chose to include in their day. While their guests gathered for cocktail hour, they chose to take a brief hike on one of their favorite trails with their closest friends. It gave them a chance to see one another, breathe, and embrace the great journey that they were about to embark on– together. Now why didn’t I think of that? Enjoy! K
I had the pleasure of photographing Katie and Trainor’s wedding a couple of weeks ago. They hosted it at Pizzaiolo and the food and atmosphere was just divine. It was a classic vintage affair with laced with perfect weather. Katie had the statuesque grace and beauty of a classic Hollywood movie star. January and February have been two very busy months for me. It’s been my months of much product or tabletop work. The work isn’t terribly creative so I will not bother to post the images on my blog (that and confidentiality is just standard protocol when working with corporations). In any case, my home turned into a studio for a number of weeks and I am finally ready to take my stands and seamless and move them back into my storage closet. My toddler can have his home in it’s entirety once again– no “off limit” areas and I have more time to blog once again.
I was able to shoot a few cute little darlings for a few days. These kids will be featured on the www.HatsByMeril.com website for the release of her Swank Kids line. These are beautifully made, hand sewn, fabric hats for toddlers and big kids. Look for their release in another week or two.
