That’s What Girls Are Made Of…

A few photos of the cutest little Fairy (she likes Tinkerbell). A tad camera shy in costume but I have yet to retouch the images of her rocking out on the accoustic guitar). And since the set was already up, I had to throw on an equally as cute little hobbit! Enjoy!

After photographing little Amaya, I drove home with the sweetest little lullaby, ‘Amaya Bella’ in my head. Her mommy sang it to her to keep her calm and to get her attention during the session. I will say that this family has debunked the theory that something is lost when a baby and mother do not get to bond within the first 2 hours of birth. This was one of the most loving and intimate families that I’ve seen in a long time and Amaya clearly knows that she is loved. If you don’t believe me, look at those big brown eyes when she gazes up at her Mama and Papa! Thank you for sharing your afternoon Paul and Tiffany!

I’ve decided to join the ranks of other photographers and started a blog to showcase work. It will be a while before I learn to customize my page and add a few other nuances but until then, here are a few photos from this week’s maternity session. I usually do maternity photos around 25-27 weeks but this time around we were pushing it (no pun intended) at week 38. Doesn’t she look wonderful? I can’t wait to see this little one– moving and grooving, he or she was already posing for the camera!
