March Showers Brings Photo Parties- Oakland Children’s Portrait Photographer

Thursday, March 24th, 2011

While I love the rain and what it does to California’s breathtaking landscape, enough is enough!  I have been playing Scheduling Chess with my clients all month in an effort to dodge the rain and I’ve been failing miserably.  Fortunately this one occasion didn’t need to be rescheduled since it was indoors (though there was that close call with losing power due to the storm).  We persevered and got some lovely photos out of the day– and the spread was to die for!  Thanks for hosting, Amy and thank you to everyone who attended the party despite the rain!  Enjoy this Sneak Peek!

The Sweetest Little Wood Nymph- Berkeley Children’s Portrait Photographer

Tuesday, February 8th, 2011

I had the pleasure of photographing an adorable fairy princess of the forest this past weekend!  With lovely red locks and hot pink mary janes, she isn’t hard to spot!  The unseasonably warm and sunny February day made this little fairy and her family a joy to photograph.  Thank you Tim, Simone, and Lily for sharing your afternoon with me.  Enjoy this sneak peek!

Catherine and Hastings Lovely Vintage Wedding

Thursday, September 23rd, 2010

If I had to categorize this wedding, I would call it a classic, romantic wedding.  In Catherine you had your classic “lady” and in Hastings, your classic southern “gentlemen”.  The day was toned with subtle romantic details– Catherine’s sleek and beautiful vintage gown, romantic and beautiful floral designs everywhere (the talents of one of SF Bay Area’s greatest kept secrets, Florist, Monica Riner).  The ceremony was at St Augustine, a 100 plus year old Catholic Church in the Rockridge district of Oakland.  The reception was held under a lush trellis in the back of Somerset Restaurant also in Rockridge but it held the intimate feel of dinner at someone’s home in the french countryside.  Simply beautiful.  Enjoy this sneak peek Catherine and Hastings, the rest is soon to come.  Thank you for sharing this beautiful day!
